Are eSHa ndx, gdex and 2000 treatments shrimp safe?

I recently have ordered eSHa ndx and gdex treatments, I also will order the 2000 one.
But since I ordered those, I've been wondering if they are shrimp safe and won't kill my vamp, cherry and amano shrimp?

Deworming medications should be fine for shrimp because they are designed to kill worms and normally don't affect any other type of organisms. I know they are safe for snails and glass shrimp, but haven't used Praziquantel or Levamisole on cherry or amano shrimp.

The eSHa 2000 leaflet does not mention crustaceans just that it is tolerated by fish, plants and filters. However in the FAQs there is a question about eSHa products in general. See the FAQ page, #3, Tolerance on eSHa Products.

@essjay , could you help me out with measuring out the dose?
My tank is 80x45x35cm and on the packaging it shows this:

Your tank volume is 125 litres, but that's empty. I would work on a water volume of 100 litres. Both of them add 1 drop per litre, so that's 100 drops.
I suggest before adding the first one to the tank you take the bottle to the sink, take the top off, turn it upside down and gently squeeze the rubber dropper. You need to be able to count the drops so the first thing is to see how fast the drops come out. Once you know you can then add the drops to the tank.
I can't remember which Colin said to add first, but with ndx you add 100 drops, then 2 weeks later add another 100 drops.
With gdex, on the first day add 100 drops; on the second day add 50 drops; on the third day add 50 drops. Then repeat this on days 8, 9 and 10.

No need to remove 25 litres. The tank is 125l, but it won't hold 125l of water with substrate and decor in there (and even when empty). I believe essjay estimated that there is 100l of water in there when full, so add 100 drops with the tank full.

Before you treat the tank, do the following things.

Work out the volume of water in the tank:
measure length x width x height in cm.
divide by 1000.
= volume in litres.
When you measure the height, measure from the top of the substrate to the top of the water level. You can use a permanent marker to draw a line on the tank at the water level and put down how many litres are in the tank at that level.

There is a calculator/ converter in the "FishForum.net Calculator" under "Useful Links" at the bottom of this page that will let you convert litres to gallons if you need it.

Remove carbon from the filter before treating or it will adsorb the medication and stop it working.

Wipe the inside of the glass down with a clean fish sponge and increase aeration/ surface turbulence.

Treating intestinal worms in fish.

You treat the fish once a week for 4 weeks. The first treatment will kill any worms in the fish. The second, third and forth treatments kill any baby worms that hatch from eggs inside the fish's digestive tract.

Treat every fish tank in the house at the same time to prevent cross contamination.
You do a 75% water change and complete gravel clean 24-48 hours after treatment. Clean the filter 24 hours after treatment too.

Do not use the 2 medications together. If you want to treat both medications in a short space of time, use Praziquantel on day one. Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate on day 2 & 3. Treat the tank with Levamisole on day 4 and do a 75% water change and gravel clean on day 5, 6 & 7 and then start with Praziquantel again on day 8.

The water changes will remove most of the medication so you don't overdose the fish the next time you treat them. The gravel cleaning will suck out any worms and eggs that have been expelled by the fish. Repeating the treatment for 3-4 doses at weekly intervals will kill any worms that hatch from eggs. At the end of the treatment you will have healthier fish.

Yes, just to make it clear, the dose rate is 1 drop per litre of water, so you need to know the amount of water in the tank not the volume of the tank itself. The volume of water is always less than the the volume of the tank.
Using your dimensions, the calculator on here gives the tank volume as 126 litres. But that's the volume of the tank when it is empty. The substrate and decor displace some water and you can't fill a tank right to the brim, the water surface is always a bit lower, so that is more of the 126 litres that's just air.

So the amount of water in your tank is 126 litres, minus the amount of air over the water, minus the volume taken up by the substrate and decor - the amount of water in the tank will be around 100 litres not 126 litres.

I work on the theory that one fifth of the tank volume is something else, not water. That's where I got the 100 litres from.

I measured how much liters were in my tank and it was about 92 liters so I just added 8 L to the tank and then added the 100 drops, it was auite the hard work measuring the 100 drops!
