Hi would anyone give me some advice on these fish, i have a jewel corner tank 190lt (98.5 x 70 x 60 cm), at the moment we have 3x angel fish. would all these fish be compatible together, and be ok in my tank along with my angel fish?:

Panda corys x3
German blue rams x2
baby pleco x1
figure 8/green spotted puffer x1

Thanks robin :good:

wow bit of an odd shaped tank - ideally I would like more length for the Angels...

Cories are fine but get more they need less than 6

Go for Bolivian Rams rather than Germans as they are easier and better in community tanks.

Baby Plecos will grow into Big Plecos so forget that - but small species of Plec would work like Pitbull or Bulldog.

Puffers will nip at other fish and do serious damage to your Angels so avoid them all together.

Wills

clowns or bn pleco could also make a good choice and yea i agree with wills that you need at least 6 corries but you could probs have more imo

cheers but dont plec grow to the size of the tank ? forgot to add kribness x 1

got the size wrong lol its (123 x 87 x 87 cm) more imo?

Nope plecos will keep growing. A lot of times they develop deformities, but just get a smaller species to begin with and you won't have that problem.

*but just get a smaller species to begin with and you won't have that problem* what do you mean ?

There are about 400 species of plec, some get huge some get middle sized some are quite small you need to pick which is best for your tank and simply buying a small common isnt the best option by a long long way. Even pets at home sell smaller species these days so finding them is quite easy compared to even 2 or 3 years ago.

Length is better :) the Krib should be okay as they will have the bottom of the tank to them selves as the Angels will stick up top

I also recommend the bristlenose pleco, they are mini versions of the common plecos and they eat well and create less waste than common plecos. They are available in many color variations including albino & longfin. I have 2 brown ones with white tipped fins & 1 albino longfin that I'm picking up Thursday if he's still there. :hyper:

Highly recommend the long fin plec, very elegant and beautiful to look at. Get him as a youngster and he will only be about 2 inches long

cheers guys will the plec be ok with 4+ panda corys? :good:

the corys 6" did not think they would grow that big  do you have to get 6 or will 4 do?
