My awesome other half just informed me that laying around his workplace are tons of fire extinguishers....yup....just laying around. He says he can just bring some home and doesnt get why I was trying to buy one. Hahaha. I slapped my forehead!

Anyway are all FE's usable for co2? He says theres a bunch of sizes but he has no idea if they are co2. He thought fire extinguishers were "dry chem" whatever that is.

at a guess, i'd say the nozzles are different dependant on whats in them. also, they do have a use by date on them. ive got one in my car, its past its use by date, but i dont know what would happen if i needed it.

Different FE's for different fires. Water, powder, CO2..probably more. Dry chem sounds like powder. CO2 will say it on it and probably have a horn type nozzle.

set it off, you'll soon find out and they do stop when you let go of the trigger.

the due by date are for safety all pressurized canisters have to have it on it. if you were to let the stuff out of the car one for example. and needed to refill it. you would have to have a test done on it to make sure the canister can take the pressure. before its refilled

CO2 for your tank and that's it lol they all have the same size fixing on top, I work in the industry sk it's true :)
