I just happenned to be looking at my bottle of water cond. and I noticed the following on the back of the bottle:
"Detoxifies heavy metals, ammonia,and other elements released from fish waste".

Just wondered if it is OK to use if it Detoxifies Ammonia, as I am about to do a 90% water change in a few days?

It's safe to use, detoxify means convert to ammonium. Your nitrifying bacteria will use this the same as ammonia.
