anyone ordered from here before? thinking of getting flee bay item : 280273376253

anyone had problems with refunds or anything , bit of a risk ordering now so if it turn's up frozen don't want a load of hassle getting another one.

I thought i recognised the images used on Flee-bay as you so rightly call it (you can indeed get some bargains) and remembered the website for "aquatic life direct".

If they are the same people then Id say go for it. But it could be someone else using the photos and the name as the prices dont seem to match up. (shipping prices seem to be different although fish price matches up)

Oh - and the website says the birchir are out of stock..... so why its on e-bay I dont know.

was gonna arder from them but their postage is extortionate 35 quid last time i looked. instead i used wildwoods through tropicalfishfinder and they were excellent my golden nugget i ordered it monday afternoon and had it arrive in perfect health very well packed on tuesday morning plus postage a lot cheaper at around a tenner. another 1 thats meant to be very good is trimar i origionally ordered the plec from them but they phoned to say they couldnt send as it was too cold. trimars fish prices are extremely good too

both the above use heatpacks in polyboxes with fresh oxygen lots of water and fish triple bagged

I've emailed wildwood's about 2 week ago as it doesnt state what size they are and i'm after a juvinile one but got nothing back. I did reserve one at a garden centre in farnham but due to the snow couldnt get their and had to come back to barrow (300miles away). Trimar don't have any either, i did see one on there ages ago but not had them back since then... i've emailed aquaticlife asking if its the same place.

best thing to do is phone wildwoods they will tell you anything you need to know from size even down to what they are feeding it and at what ph their water is.

alternatively tropicalfishfinder has a search . type in the fish you are after and it will list all shops with that fish in stock and you can pick the nearest 1

I'm sure that site used to be called 'Tropical fish 4 U', same layout and general fish for sale. Might be worth looking into abit more and finding reviews for 'tropical fish 4 u' if they did change their name.

I bought a queen arabesque plec from them 2 1/2 yrs ago (that was when they were tropical fish 4 u), I was very pleased, delivery from the web site is £14.95 which is about what I paid, maybe less. She is still very healthy and very happy, I am getting her a male soon.

my guess is trop fish 4 u went into receivership (A GUESS) and they have reopened under another name. They don't seem to have had any new fish in for a long long time, I have been checking as I wanted a male QA been looking for months on the site. Have ordered one locally instead.

If anyone has visited this web site again in the last week, you will have realised as I did, it is now Tropical fish for U again. They seem to have taken delivery of some more fish again aswell.
