Corys are resistant to ich and seldom become infected, even when other fish in the same tank are. If you see white spots on a cory, it is most likely a bacterial infection.

We've talked about the whole salt/ick/tablesalt thing before.
I've actually never had a cory get ick. I was refering to clown loaches (i used to have and they got ick) and their tank had catfish and scaleless fish.

Your pleco will be fine withstanding salt for the duration of treatment
