I enjoy my Angel Fish Nina & Pinta with how they react to me as I approach the tank. They swim right up to the front of the glass eager to say hi, waiting to be fed. They have great personalities and I really enjoy them and they are beautiful. So happy I choose to bring them home when they where only about the size of a quarter. Now they or almost the size of my hand and still growing.

Here is pictures of Nina & Pinta which I feel are both males..but oh well.

What is your aquarium friends with personality?

My side (pygmy chain loaches) are highly entertaining with their antics.
Marine fish have more personality than freshwater. Tropicals get excited when someone walks by the tank thinking they are about to be fed, but my marines used to specifically recognise me. They didn't react to the rest of the family but would recognise me when I came home from work. After a filter failure, my fish were off colour for several days and my sailfin tang wouldn't start eating again. One morning before going to work I literally pushed some frozen squid into his mouth and he didn't resist. When I came home that evening he swam up to me and ate normally - I swear he looked a little sheepish!
