I copied and paste this from auction on ebay!

Helps reduce bacteria and infection by purifying the water. Increases te incubation rate of eggs and growth of fry. Increases disease resistance. Creates an aquarium night light of unmatched beauty. Completely safe for all fish. Perfect for salt and freshwater fish. Complete instructions on the back of the box. Easy to use. Looks great in the tank, I have one myself. Selling it for almost 1/2 price then store price!

Does it have any real purpose? Its not like a moonlight (which not sure of purpose either), but I can see where it would look nice, but does it benefit the fish?

never heard of that...could be true... :dunno:

They aren't real lasers... just lights. I really dont think that they do any of that stuff, other than making it look pretty.

But who knows... maybe I'm wrong.

I've read this before with the laser lights (i took it with a pinch of salt!!),

I bought a set which came with Red lasers, in the end I decided I didn't like them and replaced it with some Blue LED's for night light (which looks much nicer)

The only real light based water cleanser I've see was a closed UV unit. You needed a pump to pump the water out the tank through the UV unit then back into the tank.

Its like those blue light things they use at the barbers. If it does its job then it will be an enclosed jobby as its not good for your eyes and not good for your fish.... but yes it nukes the bugs.... well, no experience here of it, just know what I've heard is all.
