Insulation I think. I always understood that rock wool was a mix of finely shredded newspaper and chemicals and if you use it a dust mask and gloves are a must since it can damage your lungs. Fiberglass you use gloves to prevent those tiny splinters from getting ya. They're like brushing against nettles. I use a mask due to the dust particles it can throw . Maybe they make it differently there.

OK now they may make rockwool differently in the US - I cant comment about that, but one thing is for certain, in the UK it is a MINERAL wool insulation product that is made from ROCK !

You're right scoobadoo it is made of rock. Here also; but they have a generic here made from paper and chemicals also called rock wool . If you don't know exactly which one you're looking for it can get confusing. Several differant items with the same name.

On my jobs you can have sanitary fittings in any colour as long as they're white !

Anyway, back to the heating cost/insulating problem. Have you tried connecting the power supply for the shed to your next door neighbours meter . You save on electric & insulation costs

Like i said the best option would be to insulate the entire shed....

would cut your general heating bill for you in the shead!!
