I got straight A's My goal was at least 90% in all my classes, but I got 88% in Physics because I didn't do as well as I had hoped on the final

what is your grading scale there?

A = 86-100%
B = 73-85%
C+ = 67-72
C = 60-66
C- = 50-59
F = -50%

GPA is just the average percent of all our marks.

eg. if I had 88% in Math, 90% in English, and 78% in Socials, I would have a GPA of 85.33

Wow....here is my grading scale........


94-100 A
93-85 B
84-77 C
76-65 D
64-.... F



Of course I am in college....but this grading scale is for the birds !

I miss the good 'ol days.......

even in high school though, I had to make a 93 to make and A.

I kind of wish our grading scale was more like yours. So many people here are getting A's and not even doing much work to get them

I guess I am lucky though. One of my teachers was telling me how pychologically beneficial it was to receive 86% in a class and get an A

I could see where it would be good for you to get an A at the 86 point.
