Aquarium Grounding?

Sounds like a load of rubbish. I entered a longer message, but as usual, the board here won't let me post it!!!

I'll put it on the web and post a link when I have.

I found it to be true.

A while ago a friend told me about it and I thought he was playing with my head as I didn't believe him for a second. After a while he proved it to me and I've heard others say they've had it also. It's not commonplace but I have heard of it.

How?

I'm not exactly sure if it was voltage or current he tested. It was so long ago I can't remember the basis of it all.

I think he used a multimeter and stuck one end in the water. I can't remember what he did with the other end. Maybe grounded it I assume.

I'm definately not saying you are wrong in any way. Just saying that I have heard of it before.

I've also read a while ago about the argument for/against grounding your aquarium. Actually not grounding sounded better from what I recall but there are so many differing views about everything with aquariums it seems, that I don't discount anyones advice usually.

I can't tell you more than that because I honestly don't know much about it at all.
