For that size tank in the UK I'd go for an Eheim Aquaball or Fluval U series internal.

When I replied to this question, I just saw 'Manchester' as the location - now I realise it's not Manchester in the UK

You can buy them from pet shops, online, fishing and camping stores, and some chain stores like BigW, Kmart and Target.
