Hi,

It's been a while since I visited here, mainly as I have been out of the hobby for a while, developing a new project for my reptiles, which might be of use in the fishkeeping hobby.

It started last Christmas when I worked with a chap in the US to develop a pulse proportional thermostat

This then developed into a complete unit with programmable night time temperature drops, and two programmable timers for lights... It then evolved into this

It's now four separate pulse proportional thermostats each with a programmable night time temperature drop, and two independent light timers. There are programmable high and low alarms and you can even hook it up to a PC via a serial port.

I'm looking at making a small batch of units for the guys in the reptile circle, but wondered if this was something you guys and gals could use.... however it's not cheap... the cost of the PCB alone works out at around £60... rough estimates puts the cost at around £265 per unit.
