Aquarist Classifieds - Trojan Warning

Just had a look at the Malwarebytes you've mentioned - is it really a one-off payment for the full version or is it an annual fee? It says it's one-off, but sounds took good to be true and usually when that's the case there's a big catch somewhere along the line.
How long have you had your versions, techen and Donya?

I think Malwarebytes is what we used to nuke this Trojan the first time, might have to buy the full version this time.

Couldn't be sure we removed the virus this time so we've had to completely blatt my computer :(

Aargh never touching that site again! So annoying.

I've been using the current set of things I've got now (Malwarebytes, Avast, Spybot) for years, keeping up to date versions of course. All are free versions.

For all the price of it, I buy full versions of the Computer Shopper recommended internet protection suite. They are the only testers to use an imaged pc, add the AV then expose it to real and fake viruses, including the latest known ones. They also test "fake" viruses to test false detection. Wipe the pc, reload the image, repeat test.

Right now I am running Bitdefender 2013 after it was recommended by them, cost £10 for a 2 year 5 pc subscription on offer.
