Is it just me or has the plant section disapered from their webby ?

As mentioned on here a while back, they don't stock them during the warmer (usually!) summer months as they cannot keep the quality/conditions stable enough for the plants. Hopefully they will be back soon!

There are plenty more very good places. A lot of people have recently added great reviews on a few sites, have a search.

If you want specifically Tropica, I believe Birstall Aquatics sell tropica

Bad experience I had

Tropica plants are a "pile of pants"? First person I've ever heard say this...what was your bad experience? And what's better quality wise than tropica plants?

Maybe the wholesaler who supplied to AE was 'pants'?

Exactlly, hence the 'the company who supplied the plants were a pile of pants' bit.

I waited over a week for the order and then when it arrived I only received 60% of the order and I wasn't too happy with a couple of the plants either. When I complained I was told that it was typical for only 60% of the order to come through.

That to me is BAD business in any line of business.

www.birstall.co.uk appear happy to order in any requests for Tropica plants they do not have in stock. It seems that the website stock list is also not worth 100% going by - they have some plants in stock at present (U.Gramnifolia, P.Helferi) that are not listed online, they have also said they would be happy to order these in for me in the future if I required providing they are in stock at Tropica.

Thanks nry, its U.Gramnifolia that I was after any way. Going to try and carpet my 70Gal tank with it. I'm hoping to give it a month to bed in before adding any fish

Any idea on how much I should order ???
