Aquaclear Rumble/buzz

Is there any way to take the buzz/rumble out of an aquaclear mini? I have my 5g planted on my desk and the whole desk buzzes lightly. Is there a way we can get it to run smoother or isolate the buzzing?

is it a pump? if it is then i bought some foam and cut an area out of it to slot my pump into. also put foam lid on and cut holes for tubes to come out. couldn't hear a thing after

I currently have three AquaClears running including a mini and I would consider all of them to be extremely quiet. Once in a great while one of them produces vibrations but I have found that if I momentarily unplug it the unit loses the buzz that it had. I don't know if it's a pocket of air or a piece of debris that the impeller caught but the noise always goes away.

Well...either that or some of us fish keepers are immune to fishy noises.
