Very pretty!!

I was also thinking - Without shipping, how much would you be willing to spend on aquabid?
I would spend no more than $20 (25 is its absoulty perfect!!) on a betta. More than that just seems....exsesive.

$25, for me, too. Mostly because I'm not a breeder -- all my fish, are pets.

If I see something that totally kicks my ass, though, I'd be willing to spend more, relative to the kickery.

He's a pretty nice gold/ red HM, but I dunno. For some reason, I'D PAY AS MUCH MONEY AS I HAVE TO TO GET THAT BETTA! That is after I am done chrimas shopping, and using money to buy betta breeding stuff, which after which there'll be like nothing left. *sigh*

$30 is my max with shipping unless I absolutely fell madly in love with a fish then I might be swayed to spend a little more.

I just spent $35 with shipping on my new Cambodian DT pair...

$50

I suppose if you have a job...

I can't spend any more money after today....we're going on a cruise and I need a good camera to take for it.

Wow, that's a really nice betta!!
I dunno... my limit is $25-$30 for a really nice fish, but if it was a TOTALLY AWESOME OMG WOW fish, I could see spending up to $50, or more depending on how much in love with it I was. I paid $40 each for my albimarginata

Haha, yes, having a job is a BIG part of it, and being able to save money correctly is an even bigger part. Once you get a job and set up a good budget, spending $50 is absolutely nothing. At least it isn't for me. I guess it depends on how many bills you have :p

$50 bucks if I absolutely had to have it and it and I had the cash too. Like for a solid white PK, or a really cool marble, or a super black PK, something really great that I love.

I guess if I had an income, I could spend $50. I mean, shippings another $25, so there's $75...
I got a deal on mine though, they came a pair.

Most I've spent on there for one betta was $45 but shipping to UK is high so, well it adds up. 'Accidentally' bought these three boys recently. All because my daughter lost her fella and the fell in love with the marble.
