Aquabid Disaster

Hey, the fish i ordered off aquabid was supposed to be a CTF and what i git today was a vt male. i paid 18 dollars but thats not what im mad about. he packed it well and even left a note in the box saying " hey guppydude, enjoy your new ct girl". the fish i ordred and the fish i got arn't even the same color, i dont think there could be any fish more opposite than the one i ordered. i just e-mailed him now and hopefully it was juts an honest mistake, i have no problem with switching the fish back out again but this is all kind of dissapointing. i saw this exact same fish in a cup at walmart just a week ago. his feedback was all good to so i didn't even think this would happen. i hope this works out.

It looks almost just like the female I won over two weeks ago -- WHICH I STILL HAVEN'T RECIEVED!!

She e-mailed me right after I paid her and said "I got up this morning and the fish had jumped out of its bowl and I found it dead." -- Ok irresponsible, but ok. She offered me a refund or TWO a different female CTs to make up for it. Unfortunately I figured, ok I'll take the 2 females. No biggie right? Well she said she'd have them in by Wednesday 9/22 -- I never heard from her, so I e-mailed her and her response was, "No - I meant Wednesday 9/ 29" ... well here it is Wednesday 10/6 and STILL no e-mails and no fish. GRRR. I e-mailed her and asked for a refund last night -- no reply yet though. In the meantime I've gotten 3 new females (one CT from the LFS and 2 deltas from Betta Pals) so at this point I'd rather just get my money back.

I don't suppose it was the same seller? The photography looks the same.

heres wat i got.

theres a whole story behind that fish there so lemme xeplain it. theres a breeder on there by the name of aquadream who bred all these fish. and for a while now he has been trying to get rid of them. well the guy im trying to get this fish from accually boght it from aqua dream and is now trying to re sell it to me. this is the story iv put together from all this so theres probably quite a few fish from this spawn floating around out there and most look pretty simular.

and joker i dunno where the hell u live but if ur lfs sells fish like the one in the pic up there then i wanna live there too

hey guys, he responded back to my email and hasinformed me that he has indeed shiped me the wrong fish and that my fish is with the lady whos fish i got, he left her email adress and told us to work it out. i contacted her and she contacted me right back imediately. niether of us belive it is fair that we have to spend extra to re ship these fish and are busy nigotiateing our selves some cash as i speak. im glad im going to be getting my fish but im upset iv got to pay more, hopfully he'll wake up and relize he should pay for his own mistake.

I don't think aquadream (Samantha Houston) breeds them either (which I didn't realize at the time) or didn't breed these ones -- because when she offered the "replacements" she said she was "getting a SHIPMENT of CT females & halfmoon males" in.

I hope it works out with you and the person your betta got mixed up with!! Keep us posted!!
