I have an Aqua One Oscillaris 850 canister filter bought as part of package with tank and cupboard.
It developed a leak arond 3 moths ago from the head and body join. I tried to fix it by tightening down on the mounting clips to pull the head in tighter to the body but it didn't help.
I tried to buy a new gasket, and a new primer as that was also k-nackered. In fact I got blisters on my finger pumping it up and down so quickly and so many times. It never managed to prime the system.
Anywau I just couldn't get the parts I need so have had to buy another filter to keep my tank up to spec.
I placed an online order with AquaOne direct for both parts almost 4 weeks ago, and apart from an almost immediate response to say they were out of stock and they would let me know when they got them back in, they have been totally silent.
First, a gasket and a primer are general wear and tear parts so should always be in stock. It's like going to the garage for a new fan belt and finding they "are on order and we'll let you know when we get them in". Damn ridiculous.
I tried calling them to get an answer that they weren't open. That was around 3.30 to 4.00 a couple afternoons ago.
So next I replied to the email they sent saying they were out of stock telling them that the inconvenience was really bad, and suggested that if they couldn't supply the individual parts, then they could at least supply a whole new canister head.
Not a word from them.
Just to let you know............. Aqua sucks

I am actually amazed that they didn't use the old chestnut of...

"Well parts are a bit hard to get at the moment due to a supply chain issue caused by the pandemic causing fewer people to be at work in the factory and parts department....oh and the postal/couriers are all running late too due to the pandemic causing fewer people to be at work.....blah...blah....blah"

Companies need to quit using the pandemic for plain lousy customer service.

Try these....if you haven't already

Nobody has stock even though they show them on their website.
Just thought of another topic title. AquaGone
