Aqua El Uni Filter With Uv

Hey all,

I'm looking into buying a new internal filter for my Aqua one 980. I am also using the bult in hood trickle filter but just use an internal to add to the water movement/flow as the built in filter does not provide much. I have been using (up until now) the Interpet Internal PF Power Filters but have decided to buy a different type.

Does anyone have any experince of whether the Aqua El Uni Filter with UV filters are any good? They have a UV Steriliser built into the impeller chamber which is new (as far as I know) to internal filters and are built in Poland.

I've just bought one of these from a seller on Ebay for £10 so I'd be interested to find out too! hopefully I'll get it in a couple of days so I'll be able to report back with my findings

I've sold a few at the lfs and they are used in quite a few tanks there.

They work well at eradicating green water, but tbh have no idea if they are near powerful enough to actually help with things like whitespot.
Decent reliable filters nonetheless been running at the lfs for about 6 months packed with filter wool.
