Apistogramma Hongsloi

Been looking at fish for my new fluval roma 125l and fell for a pair of these today.

What would you put with them and anything I should be aware of?

Beautiful fish, one of my favorite apistos. Just about any tetra, danio, rasbora would make great schooling fish. Cories or kuhli loaches would be great along the bottom and otos for algae control would finish it off for me.

And maybe a plec?? obviously a smaller one.

Any other suggestions

Yeah a bushy nose or bulldog plec would be ok.

What about a couple of dwarf blue gouramis to go with them?

6 Sterbai Corys
1 Clown Pleco

How does that look, anything that I can add?

If you add the gouramis do 1 male and 2 females, as 2 males will fight. Otherwise stocking looks good.

Went to the LFS and my other half fell in love with a pair of german rams. Anyway of fitting them into the equation rather than instead of the Apistogramma hongslois?

is their a rule about not keeping apistos and rams or is it tank size ?
