I've now got two females and one male in my tank. One of the females I've had for a while but the male that came with her died.
When she saw the new male on Sunday she was bang on it and changed to a much lighter colour almost immediately which I think means shes on it. I've put an empty tetra min pot with the sliding lid open enough for the male and female to get in and half submerged it in the gravel which she seems really interested in and has since sunday. She's guarding the area currently and won't let any other fish near there. However, there are no eggs currently plastered on the walls inside the empty food pot and she doesn't appear to be carrying any eggs.
I've been feeding bloodworm as i've heard rich food can bring on spawning but still nothing.
I know I'm being impatient as it's only been 4 days now but I've got 2 questions:

1. Is there anything else that will encourage them to spawn?
2. When they do spawn, what do I do when I've got wigglers? I've heard that theres a much better success rate when they're with their mum so I don't want to remove them. I do have a smaller tank that I can get set up but how and when would I go about transferring the wigglers and the mum? If I leave them too long in my tank they'll blatantly get eaten.

Any help/advice/knowledge will be much appreciated.

Cheers guys, look forward to reading your responses.

1 - clean water and tank, good food such as brine shrimp or mosquito larvae and plenty of caves
2 - keep them with mum for a few weeks then put them on there own
