Aphyosemion Hera Ark 96/1-2

No really name except
le male (the male in french)
la femelle dominante (the dominant female)
la femelle timide (the shy female)
or the girlies

I have some fry already, left them with adults hope they gonna to make it, I saw different sizes but none the same moment, I know that everyday I have new fry, no idea if they'll make it, we will see this

In 70 Liters very planted I should have some left alive.
But I give only frozen bloodworms as they don't like the other frozen food, to avoid them to go too much after the fry if I put them on a diet to make them eat the others food (once I got some fry outgrown and teenage I will try again)

Update on Hera!

I didn't interfere with reproduction of my Heras so far, didn't took out the spawning mops to collect eggs, neither did collect fry at any time, due to being a bit unsure what to do next with all offsprings.

I noticed a highly unbalanced sex ratio (was desperate at one point to have males any day)

Most youngsters are nearly to the parents size, but I do also have some smaller ones but in smaller numbers. I don't see any very very young fry. Guess they're the snack

More than ten young females (didn't count -- they play hiding all the time, could be 20) (+ 3 girls given to an ex colleague and friend falled into fishkeeping because of me  )

Have had two brothers (one given yesterday to my friend to go with the 3 girls) and have one more male younger just starting to coloring.

I will add a spawning mop as the fish tank is basically occupied by the adult original male on the right and the left (with the only mop) controlled by his son... If I don't move the young male with two girls into a smaller tank... just to check if his matings are successful...

See you!
