I really love them. and think every thing good about them lol... but your opinion?
I voluntarily operated the local branch of the SPCA in a small village for 12 years...... A new resident then moved in who happened to own 2 Pitbulls and he was a registered breeder with the kennel union of South Africa (KUSA)..... The moment he moved in, my phone never stopped ringing..... "Are you aware that we have Pitbulls in town and what are you going to do about that"???!!there ugly. border collies are nicer

There should be a box for "skeptical." I do not love pits, nor hate them. In fact, I am scared of them. Although I have come across quite a few nice ones, you just never know.
My mom had a pitbull named Allie. Great little dog. My mom raised her from a pup. Had her for about 2 years I think. Well, one day Allie snapped. They don't know what set it off. She started attacking the other dogs. My mom had to go outside and try and get ally off of one of the other dogs necks. Allie turned on my mom, and ripped her leg open. I mom almost lost her leg.
In Florida, it is law that after one bite incident with a pitbull, that dog must be put down. They try to get her to take her to the vet for humane euthanization, and Allie tried to attack my step dad in the process. My stepdad had to shoot her.
It was a very sad situation as this was a dog they had for a minute, and she snapped unprovoked. This was a dog that would roll around on the floor with my kids when they were 1 and 2 years old. What if it had been the kids?
I do not hate pitbulls, nor do I hate that people own them. They can be great dogs. But I can't say that I love them either.
I am only telling this story because sometimes good ownership may not be enough. People need to choose carefully where they buy their pits as that need to fight is bred into some bloodlines.
We think that may have been the case with Allie. There should be a box for "skeptical." I do not love pits, nor hate them. In fact, I am scared of them. Although I have come across quite a few nice ones, you just never know.

It is very true pits with bad breeding can be aggressive to people. It is the cause of two abused pit fighters breed to create a monster.

But on a lighter note, last pole I looked at deemed Cocker Spaniels as the dog with the highest bite rate lol.
i was going by looks when i said border collies are nicer
im aware dogs can have a nice personality or a bad one depending on the owner
iv got a rescue dog. she was in a blind persons house when her husband past away (he was also blind) she couldn't cope with having her.. but she was snarly and aggressive and dident trust anyone to begin with (because they kept having visitors or something) but now shes the nicest dog in the world =D
i just personally dont like the look of pit's
There's a reason they're banned in this country along with 3 other breeds, and that is because they're on average more aggressive and more unpredictable than most other breeds. Any dog is dangerous in the wrong hands, but more so the Pitbull Terrier, I've seen the damage these dogs can do and it isn't pretty. They're ugly as hell anyway.
