Not really my gloat but it relates to me....
My husband picked up a 15% payrise without having to change companies/ positions and doesn't have to do any extra work or hours, he is also getting more staff which once they are trained up will reduce his work load further, and to top it off he now also gets 1 Rostered Day off a month (I get 2 ). The only thing he didn't score out of the deal was a permanent company car...but hey can't be greedie .

It's Braccus Hubby here I'm Gloating for my white Dog she's getting new kennel that i'm building it will be a flash one steel frame insulated walls and a veranda. I will get Baccusto post pics in a few weeks when it's finished.

Just thought I would give an update on my freebie tank.
A reminder pic
Finally repaired and a stand made (thank goodness for handy hubby's and neighbours that have welders you can borrow)
The tank now also has the old filter off the previous tank running on it as well as a new 800L Hob filter, as well as the old tanks light there is now also plants in there and once I can rearrange a few power leads and things it should also get its own airstone/ bubble wall.
After trying to plant some plants in this tank we have realised it might be better to keep this tank as the breeding tank and make the current breeding tank into the fish for sale tank, simply because this new tank is soooooo deep it's going to be nearly impossible to catch bristle noses out of it with out droppinig nearly all the water and still standing on a step ladder.

Their team, which is only small have won a prestigious award from the chartered institute of marketing for their work.
They won their category, but best of all, they won the chairmans award for excellence.
They were up against the likes of Pepsi with huge budgets, so needless to say I'm very proud of her.... and her colleagues

Today a guy came into the shop and said with a depressed sigh "my girlfriend wants fish so i have come in to see how much i have to spend to make her happy.... i dont even like fish..."
And after an hour he left the shop looking particularly happy with half a rainforrests worth of books and leaflets and photos of all the fish he wants and tanks he liked the look of and "you will definately be seeing me soon! i cant wait!"
I think we covered everything from settup and maintenance to compatable fish to deforrestation (not through the ammount of leaflets he took!) and its effects on the fish

Picked up a 3ft tank with stand today for £25 from a local charity shop.
It needs a really good clean, but should look ok when it's done..

im here to gloat, as i just blagged myself some car insurance.
im 26, been driving since 2009, and have a 1967 triumph spitfire. my insurance ran out 2 days ago, it cost 160ish quid last year. my renewal letter was 195 quid. so i cancelled that. after much phoning around, i got a quote for 170 - still too much. next place i phoned, i told them i had been quoted 150, they went to 146.
this morning i rang my current insurers (up till 2 days ago anyway), and told them the best quote i had was 139 quid fully comp. they then beat it, to 137, and i managed to increase the agreed value of my car to 4k, reduce my excess to 50 quid, get breakdown cover, recovery, roadside assistance, european cover, windscreen cover, blah blah.
i am most pleased, paid it all off in one go. no need to worry about insurance payments till next year.
next up, ive got to apply for my FREE tax disc

Well let's see I got accepted into a school I wanted to go to so I'm finally moving out of my parents house thank the lord!!!!
