AWESOME. How is the mounting system on the bottom. I hear from reviews that it is pretty flimsy and breaks easily? Most YouTubers recommend the SuperSuit for extreme activities.

I have not experienced any problems with the mounts, they seem pretty sturdy for the time being.

Nice!

I had just seen some YT videos were the YouTuber showed how flimsy they were - I am used to the older series of Gopro's. (My first was a GoPro HERO 2014, which has the same format of the HERO1, 2, 3, 3+, 4 and 4 black)

The older GoPro's are also more durable IMO. Im scared to get my HERO6 wet without its SuperSuit.

What resolutions do the older ones have? I was kind of sceptical the the hero 8 being water proof but I have done it twice now and it hasn't stopped working yet.

Most of them had 1080p 60 FPS.

I run my HERO6 at 2.6K 60 FPS. I would run it at 4K (Thats the reason why I got the HERO6, not the HERO5) but it takes forever to download to the GoPro app.

Unless you have warranty for it, I would get a SuperSuit. They are cheap, but worth it to protect your GoPro.

All of the older models of GoPro's (HERO5 and under) did not have a 4k resolution option.

One thing I don't like about the hero 8 is you can't change the lens if you break it.

That's another good one. With the previous models (HERO5, HERO6, and HERO7) you could just buy a cheap plastic replacement pice off of GoPro.com. Now, if you scratch it, its game over.

GoPro supposedly made the lens more sunken into the body, so it was either to fit in your pocket. (That's why you can't replace it)

Yup thats why I got a lens protector since a scratched lens is bound to happen at some point.
