Anyone know what animal this is?

Anyone know? It looks like a cross between a dog (they walk on all fours and older ones have dog like faces) and a rabbit. They were all over the place in the wildlife park:

I have no clue but it's amazing :wub: I wonder if it would use a litterbox like a bunny...or go outside like a dog :huh: :whistle:

look at the muzzle of the mara it is way way longer than the viscacha
trust me on this.
EDIT;
The photograpgh you have linked to shows the viscacha in it's long winter coat.
