My 4x2x2 (400L+) tank has always been a #29### to clean. I got a large gravel vac but the detritus goes up and some falls back down.
Been advised to check out the Eheim Universal Pumps. I just did a tank drain and got 6L in 64s. That's roughly 360L/Hr. Clearly the 1046 would be slower. The 1048 would be quicker, but would it be enough? The 1250 is pricier but would cut cleaning time down dramatically and that means more chance of a weekly change!
Anyone used these pumps for tank cleaning? Any advice out there?
