Anyone Got A Picture Of Argos Play Sand In There Tank

I decided to go for Pets@Home gravel sand; slightly larger grain size than Argos, it has different coloured grains which camouflages poop a little so it doesn't look so messy, more expensive but worth it I think, very happy.  I took the gravel out over a few evenings, left fish and shrimp in throughout the transition, and washed and added the sand in one hit using the bottle method (search on youtube, works amazingly, very quick, very clean, no mess, no endless sand washing).  From bare bottomed tank to sand substrate and clear water took just over an hour with no mess and no moving fish out!  Highly recommended....

I used two bags for my six foot

The play sand we get in the states is much rougher. The tank in my sig (and all my tanks) have the play sand we get here.

One thing I like about mine is that it tends to hide the poo a bit better.

And clown loaches will eat most plants, they stay away from anubias and java ferns and stuff like that. Lets see how yours looks now!
