Anyone ever use one of these Nano Cubes??

The Nanocube has far superior lighting than the 12g Eclipse, but is somewhat more expensive. If you don't plan on planting heavily or with high light plants, just go with the Eclipse.

The Nanocube is a cool looking little tank though...

I didnt know that. My lfs has 2 set up, 1 is a mini-reef and the other has alot of rocks and a few small africans.

Now I'm curious, does the nano-cube come with a heater, and how does its filtration stack up to the eclipse?

Here's JBJ's writeup on the Nanocube:

http://www.jbjlighting.com/sys_nanocube.html

The lighting is a 24w compact fluorescent fixture with electronic ballast.

The filter is 3 stage (mechanical, chemical, biological) at 106 gallons/hour.

It does not come with a heater, though I think I read somewhere that a heater can be placed in the back filter area to keep it out of the way. Not sure on that.

Due to it's good lighting, it seems to be the tank of choice for nano-reefs. There are a lot of nano-reef discussion forums around with more details on this tank. I'd read up about people's experiences with the filter and whatnot before making up my mind.
