Hi all, as the title say's has anyone tested the water params of our ocean as i would like to know.

The usual tests really.

amm, trite, trate, ph, kh, phos, temp, sg, cal

Anyone done this?

If i was really bored and had tons of time on my hands then I would actually drive to different coastlines across britain just to see the differences!

I'm planning on taking my little lad to the seaside for the day soon so my salifert test kits and refractometer will be going along with my bucket and spade!

Yes, I know thats sad

Cheers

I didnt know you had kiddies woody! Blimely, you should take a net aswell and make a cold water tank!! :)

From what I understand the only difference you should see anywhere is temp. The sea as a whole is so huge everything so diluted hence why NSW levels are that everywhere. I may be wrong though.

You may find different readings in places like high pollution spots or something like that though.

No point testing Weston super mare's water as it would take me a day to walk down to the sea and that's fully polluted!
