I'm currently looking at this website that is fascinating, about this man from thailand who has grown up with all kinds of bettas, and breeding them from as a boy many years ago. Although he talks about breeding these fish for fighting purposes (which i don't agree with), it shows pictures of them going out and catching some beautiful wild bettas in their natural habitat. They even set up spawning areas in the wild for the bettas which i think is good.

But what i wanted to know is, has anyone set up a tank for bettas that looks like their natural habitat?

I would love to see pictures.

P.S i will post the link to this website if you wish. :)

let me remind you that most of the information on this website is about fighting bettas :/ , but it still shows some great wild bettas.

Yes, a link would be wonderful :D

BTW, Modaz, is that your puppy? I have wondered but never asked. Very cute.
yup thats her at 13 weeks old, shes 12 months old next week

What a very interesting article. Any rescuers available when i'm grappling at bottom of lake for fresh mud???

:hyper: am on a GAB forum but they are not that good about bettas. they sort of have a small tank with weeds in and call it their natural habitat....
