Any Tips How To Make A Temp Breeding Home

Hi'can anyone help me out how to make a homemade breeding home.Some of my guppies have just given babies and i want to make something to put them in till i buy one Thanks.Mark

Well, I guess if you are concerned with them getting eaten, then you could throw in a full plastic plant. That would give them some hiding places.

Or, if you have a large net, you could scoop them up and put them in that as it lays in the tank.

Or, you could keep the other fish well fed and place the plant in the tank.

Or, you could try to put them in a cup until you get a breeders net. But I wouldn't leave them in there very long.

If all you have in the tank is guppies, you will have plenty of survivors, as long as the adults are fed. With decent cover and only guppies, it can very quickly look like this. I have sold at least 40 adults out of this tank after stocking with only two pairs about 8 months ago. The cover is a clump of java moss that is clearly visible in the picture.
