Am looking to get a inline diffuser and need the internal diameter of the EX1200 tubing.

I have one of these beasties but its got water pumping through it and to take it apart just to measure the tubing is a bit long winded ( and Im lazy ) so if anyone has one in pieces or knows the internal diameter and couild post it here that would be great and muchly appreciatted.

I have looked on the Tetra website and it list's it as 15.2 mm which is an odd size so just wanted it checked it please

Thanks in advance.

It's standard 16mm/22mm (int/ext) :)

Any hose of those dimensions will fit fine. Just to be sure, I've measured an off cut and it measures approx 15mm internal. Of course, it stretches a little to go over a larger connector (hence the 16mm I guess).

Okay, Im hoping it will stretch over one of these!

Im guessing if I get the tubing hot and be patient and not force it, it should fit!

if you boil up some water in a kettle / pan and place the tubing into the hot water for 30 seconds to a min at max this will make the tubing soft enough to be manipulated over a larger bit of pipe / tubing. and when it cools Will create a tight seal (may be v difficult to remove it again) Ive done this several times far many applications.
