Any Second Hand Uata (ide) Hdd's

I'm looking to modding my xbox's hdd

I'm looking for second hand hdd's as i dont want to risk killing a new one.

I'm in Dorset UK will collect if possible.

I'm assuming you intend to mod the xbox rather than the hard drive, by adding a larger one. In which case I don't see any 'risk', in fact I would be more inclined to buy new than get some second hand disk which may well be on it's last legs. If it goes you'll only be sat there wondering if it was about to die or if you actuallly broke it with what you were doing.
and which is it?

Is it an xbox or a 360?

Have you checked out llamma.com , as they do excellent modding tutorials which might come in handy.

thanks, ye gonna upgrade the Hdd (not 360) to what ever i can find, only want a cheep SH as practice if it works then i'll do a new HDD at a leter date, i got the software to rebuild the drive and lock it to the eeprom of the xbox already.

So think i got every thing covered, was looking at 250gig for £80 but if it die's during the process I'l be gutted, surly though i'll be able to reformat it i think, but not sure if possible as it's "locked" to the xbox.
