Hi I am looking for a bunch of green, red and other coloured plants for my cichlid setup that needs lighting up. If anyone has got any plants they want to bin then please contact me as I will take them. I really need to fill up my tank as it will make fish much happier and will cover the holes in some of my rock. I am looking for some green but more red coloured plants or any other colours. They need to be suitable for a heated tank. If there is bog wood on them then that would be good also. Can it be free or cheap please. Please can you send me a picture on here, but please could you make it as cheap as possible if you're hoping to sell.
I have a 17" high tank so a big plant would also be good. Thanks :)

hi, bamboo isn't aquatic, and will slowly rot in your tank, so don't get it. i believe that they will grow with just the roots in the water though.

cheers :good:

Dame lol I actually thought they will be suitable, I even had that type of plant in my house really nice and it curled at the top, when i saw people with it in tanks I thought there might be a tropical version in water lol. We got rid of ours ages ago. What other nice looking plants are there looking for some tall and colourful plants?
