i have a 8 gallon hex tank with 1 male betta 2 corys i was wondering if i could add any more fish and what type would be ok with these fish.

Hey Im sorry that no one replied to you earlier Firstly I would get another cory becuse they like to be in groups and then I would get some guppies or platies (live bearers) because they are hardy fish and people enjoy having them breed (avoid danios and tetras as they need swiming room not provided by an 8 gallon hex). Also keep in mind that you need to add fish slowly so as not to build up nitrogenous wastes.

Hope this helps

I wouldn't add a female betta. If the betta you have now is a male they'll pick at each other to death. Two females would be okay. I would add more corys, maybe some otocinclus. I love schooling fish. :)

St. That is spam and misinformed. Never keep any male Betta with another anabaitoid It will end poorly. Stop spaming!

Inchworm was talking about your 15gall!

What about Kuhli loaches? Or Siamese Flying Foxes?

I only really know about the fish I have enough to recommend them.

I like that you keep you tanks stocked so lightly It's good for the fish. As far as the 15 gallon goes why not get 4 dwarf puffers. :fun:

 thanks for help i would like to get red finned shark would tank be big enough and would it be ok with black neons i thought they may be to aggresive

I don't think the tank would be big enough for a red finned shark.

How about a dwarf gourami? They're very pretty and fairly hardy, IMO. :fun:

In my opinion, 15 gallons is not big enough for 4 dwarf puffers. When I first heard they were aggressive I didnt really believe it because they're so small, but I have 3 in my 37 gallon and they are very territorial and fight a lot, probabally more than they should. They also nip at my loaches which are easily 6 inches bigger than them... I think they're one of those fish that think they're a lot bigger then they are lol. I'd get one in that tank, MAYBE two if theres a ton of decorations and they cant see eachother clearly from different sides of the tank, cuz theyre damn cool fish.
