Any hope for my nomaphila stricta?

My cichlids have had a good go at this plant, is it worth keeping in with all of the leaves chewed? (Image below)

If you are concerned with the looks of it, I'd get rid of it. Otherwise if you take it out and put in another container/tank, it should grow back.
I don't keep cichlids myself, and reading so much about them chewing their way through all your efforts to make a nice tank, I'll stick with nano fish.

Yeah It’s frustrating, my Java fern and anubias are still going strong

But I bought 20 x valisneria spiralis
10 x Ludwigia
20 x stems of Nomaphila stricta
and they have destroyed all of them which is not only expensive but annoying.

I’m trying again with the Nomaphila stricta and I’ve also ordered some cryptocoryne Wendtii aswell as Amazon frogbit and hopefully some of it works lol

I’m also changing my substrate to black sand soon, big changes happening I guess lol
