I have anubias growing successfully on mopani wood, which is rough enough for the roots to cling to, I guess. Well, I really don't like the look of the dark mopani in my tank, and I've spent a fortune on pieces I don't like.

How would anubia do on manzanita wood? The pieces I have are rather smooth. How will the anubias do long term on manzanita?

Thanks so much, and I'd really appreciate any pics you can upload.

I attached anubia plants on the mopani wood with sewing thread, and it's working fine. Is there any reason I should use fishing line?
sewing is good
i think it is because it is invisible and does not rot
(though string will not rot a lot either)
