Anubias Qustions

Here's what my tank looks like.

Was thinking of tying some anubias to the two pieces of wood, but now I might also plant some in the substrate as well.

It's quite open at the moment and you seem to have a lot of light. I'd probably reduce it if you are not going to plant heavily or use any co2 source. If you get anubias, I'd try to pick a shady spot at least for now, somewhere under the swords or the bottom of the driftwood. If you tank and substrate is new, there won't be much natural nutritients either in the water or substrate unless you are supplementing.

It is a new tank and I am using supplements. I agree, it is pretty open now, but won't be in a couple days. I'm heading over to the LHS to purchase more plants. Also, as I said, the lights are programmed to alternate intensity levels throughout the day. But yes, I do plan to plant them in shady areas at first until some of the Amazons start growing taller.

Good luck with the tank Jay. I love the setting up stages in a tank, so much to look forward to :) It's a great start.
