I have recently contacted my LFS to place an order for anubias nana "petite" and the guy told me about the Anubias Nana Petite, golden..
I have never seen, and can't find any info online about such plant.
I'm wondering, would they be confusing the simple anubia nana with the "petite"?

Cheers!

I've seen pictures of the golden variety in people's tanks so I'm pretty sure it does exist.

Also a lot of suppliers seem to use 'petite' and 'bonsai' interchangeably. I was led to understand that 'petite' has small round leaves (small as in fingernail sized) while bonsai has larger more pointed leaves (but still smaller than a regular nana). Others say that it's the same species but has different leaf shape when grown immersed vs emersed. I'm not convinced as I'm pretty sure I've seen both leaf types growing immersed in the same tank. It's all rather confusing.

Thanks for your answer, I am spending about 60$ on this so I need to make sure I'm getting what I need! :p
Do you know if the "golden" variety would grow as well in low light conditions?

Thanks :)

The golden variety is just another name for nana, you'll be fine.
