Heya guys, been trying to track down some Anubias (I want a few to go on a knotty big in my tank when it goes in)...

Nothing within 50 miles of me has any, and those I can find on the internets seem more than a little over priced or are from areas that may have used unsavoury applications...

Does anyone have some knocking about/spare that I could grab for cheap? 4 or 5 is what I'm after (dependent on size).

But an important question first! I've read that plecs wreck anubias? I've got a female bristlenose & ramshorns - will it be safe with these?

Cheers!

Hi, I keep my anubias with a bristlenose and she doesn't seem to touch it, I don't have any spare I'm afraid, they are quite an expensive plant to buy, got mine from last trading post on the bay, they are very good! don't think the ramshorns will bother them the leaves are quite tough and waxy, mine has attached to some bogwood and is half in and half out the water seems to grow quicker and better when it is not fully submerged.

Where abouts in South Wales do you live?? Every P@H store around my way has Anubias in all year round :good:

Get yourself down to Bristol, or if you cant are that desperate I will buy you some and post it to you if you cover the costs :)

Hi there Livewire :) very kind of you! I've got a self imposed pets at home livestock/plant ban at the moment (we have one in Aberystwyth near me) due to a number of bad experiences. They did offer to prder me some in, but after 3 months of delivers with no anubias, I give up ;p.

How much is yours selling it for out of interest? :)

Usual price for potted plants at P@H round my way is £3.99 each or 3 for £11 :good:

No problem, glad to be able to help.
