ant stuck in tiger barb

so the ant is gone
i guess it was either swallowed or became dislodged and is now somewhere in the tank, anyway, its out of the fish regardless
the poor little guy is still just hovering at the bottom of the tank though, i would imagine he's quite a bit stressed from having a giant insect lodged in his throat for about 18 hours...hopefully not so stressed he dies

Great story,

I love Tiger Barbs i have just started to cycle (fishless cycle) a 30g tank for them and get them out of the 10g tank (6 in all).

I bet the little tiger barb is just digesting his well deserved meal.
If I was a tiger barb and had a chance to eat a good ole ant, I would not dare spit it out.

fish is slowly getting back to normal, its color came back, its eating again, swimming with the others, looks like its going to pull through (now watch it dies tomorrow...)
