Hello! So early March I adopted (petsmart gave it to me for free) this glow betta which had swim bladder problem. Since it was so easy to solve I suspect it was just really bad constipation. Just an Epsom salt bath and fasting solved it. Unlike my other adoption which was struggling with swim bladder from internal parasites and needed medicated food before any progress happened.

wanted to share his progress :)

he’s in a 2 gal bowl with a small bubble filter and fully planted. Live in Hawaii so no need to worry about a heater. He will be put into a 4 gallon bowl when my new set up is ready (only another week or so till its ready) but he’s very happy and has coloured up a lot! Just glad I got to him because petsmart employees arent very educated with fish and he likely would’ve sat in his cup in the corner of the store till he died.

Photos are day 1, week 3, and week 6.

He was sold as a female but as you can see he very much looks like a male.

I also attatched a photo of the tank he will be In Soon.
