Aaaw I'm so sorry about Magic. :rip: You did all you could. He'll thank you for making the last part of his life comfortable. :)

The twitching might be a nervous post-death reaction, but are you sure he's definately gone?

Hes defentally gone... Hes not even twitching anymore :-( I feel horrible. I know its not my fault that he died but still....

Well I'm sure he would have rather passed away in peace with a kind person watching over him, instead of passing away in a manky little cup with noise and people all around him. You did a great thing.

Splish you are right ;) Its just to bad I didnt save him in time. I may go back to the store and see if there is another one I can have...
Now that hes gone, what do I do with him?
Thanks for the support everyone .

Wrap him in some tissues and throw him out in the trash, or you can bury him if you'd like.

Poor fellow. They often twitch and jerk when they're on their way out. It's the brain trying to jumpstart its failing systems.

I bury my deceased bettas by wrapping them in a tissue and putting them in a matchbox. Then I place them with a few flowers in a grave in my backyard. It's not a fun job, burying your pets. But in my opinion they deserve a proper burial after all the love they gave.

I just wanted to let everyone know that he is now burried in my backyard

I'm sorry for your loss.
You did what you could for him, and it seems to me as if they always know that.

As was already said, I'm sure he was happy to have a sweet face looking in on him rather than being on a shelf somewhere for his last days.

Hang in there.

So sorry little Magic didn't make it. Even if you only have them a short time, you get attached to them and it hurts when they die. The only way to ease it is to find another one that needs you. :-(
