Another Pleco?

Beginning to get a bit worried that the L200 isnt eating. I haven't observed it doing much other than being attached to a rock or the wood.. Any ideas Mike?

How does its belly look?

Concave/sunken would be a worry.

Try pushing some algae wafers into a courgette sliced in half, leave it near where it hangs out overnight when the lights go out.

All wild caughts take a while to settle, some longer than others.

I can't really see it's belly from where it's hiding at the moment but I wouldn't have said it has gotten to that stage yet. It does seem to be grazing on the wood but I know that's not enough for it.

I'll stick a couple wafers into some courgette later on after lights out. Only problem I have with courgette recently is it seems to be secreting a slimy substance into the water that's then clogging all 3 filters! The courgette is pretty fresh so I really can't explain it.

I don't want to stress out the plec by catching it to check out its belly just yet. I've only had him/her since last Saturday - when should I get really concerned?

Cheers mate.
