Fairly new to tropical fishkeeping, so thought I would say a quick hello.

I am a few months down the line with my Juwel Rekord 120 ... Had not realised that fishkeeping would be quite so interesting! ... Seem to often find myself sitting there gazing into the tank, watching these beautiful creatures with their fascinating characteristics.

Have some mixed corys, 3 rummy nose tetras, 2 plecs, 2 blue rams, some bumblebee gobies, a rainbow shark, a small clown loach, a featherfin squeaker, 2 aquatic frogs and some shrimp ... All getting along nicely - well apart from a few ram squabbles! :)

sounds like you have a good tank there hope everything goes well look forward to seeing pictures if your posting

hi welcome to the forum, can i just warn you that the clown loac will out grow your tank, sorry.

Yes, I've recently been advised of this so hoping a friend of our who has a 500L tank will give it a new home soon. It's a shame that the local fish shop didn't advise of this when I purchased it, particularly as I have always told them the size of my tank before buying any fish!

lol LFS syndrome I am afraid . I am new to the hobby but the more I read here the more I am starting to understand that there are good and bad Fish shops and the bad are either misinformed or just after the sale.
