I have a similar tank that I bought for £39.95 in my LFS so that is a Bargain!

Hehe! Still, the plant could be put right at the back behind some others and can offer a little bit of extra cover. The shell, well, perhaps you have some spare shelf space

Ooo, nice looking tank. If the shells were natural coloured then I would probably keep them. Even then they would probably be kept deep into the gravel. Can't wait to see it set up and running!

I don't know if the plant is plastic or silk. If silk, I just might keep it - running out of real plants. Gotta get some more - MORE $$$$!!!!

And the shells - well, I might just give them to my daughter-in-law for her betta tank. She seems to like that kind of wildly colored stuff.

I agree, LellowFish, if they were natural colored I WOULD probably keep them. Too bad they aren't.

i started off with the mini bow. i have to say they are my favorite tanks. the filters they come with are very simple to use. and i love the look. so much so i broke down and bough a 26 bow tank.
congrats i hope you love it as much as i do.
also note walmart sells them as well so if you ever want to get more

hey, if you have a that fish place near you they had a decent sale on silk plants. my mom got three big ones for azuls tank for 5.99

Well, ya just never know - I might!

Don't start "encouraging" me, Netty!!! No, I am going to keep the 3 gal. & the bowl for any emergency I may have in the future I am trying to upgrade my 3 gal. tanks to 5 gal. tanks to give the "boys" more room. With the two 5 gal. tanks I have purchased this week, I will have only one betta in a 3 gal. tank.

No, I don't. The closest fish store to me is 30 miles (60 miles round trip). Besides, if I am going to spend money for more plants, it will be for live plants.
