Not funny; they do that all the time with red tail catfish; which is a fish commonly sold to folks who buy 10 gallon aquariums Which by the way can become too big for your bathtub at over 5 feet.

There are a lot of fish that will become monster size but are sold as cute little fish at the store. And not all stores will give the information about their max size.
