Hi ,
I have a Juwel Delta 100 corner tank 150 Litre capacity with a selection of community fish in it. I recently aquired a Eheim 2010 filter and was wondering if it would be ok to run this filter along with the std Juwel one as i have heard that they are not that great, but being a novice i dont really know good from bad to be honest.
Cheers,
Jim.

The juwel range was aimed at planted tanks so the filtration rate will be slower than normal.

There is no problem in adding the extral filter well thats what id say anyway

Absolutely Jim! You only have too much filtration when it sucks up your fish

Reality. Yes, good idea

;) Go ahead m8, the juwel filtration is pretty poor on its own. :) Mac.

I double up on all of my Juwel tank filters with externals .............. so yes its a very good idea m8 ;)

i think you should buy Eheim 2012, if you haven't  got 2010 yet.

Because... There is only one difference - 2012 has bigger filtration volume:

2010:
220-500l/h
Filter volume 0,330l

2012:
220-570l/h
Filter volume 0,470l

And remember that there can't be too much filtration in aquarium! If you have money enough it always be better to buy good external filter and one internal filter.

I am going to have to try an Eheim one of these days. It is just that I have had good luck with Maineland filters. But always hear good about Eheim.

I have only Eheim filters: external 2028, internal 2010, 2012 and 2052.

And really satisfied with them... I have never seen "Maineland filters", so i can't compared them to each other...

Although Eheim filters (like every technical material) are so expensive here in Finland so i have ordered them from German everytime :)

Thanks gang, looks like the extra filters going in.
Jim.
